I hate being a student.

Friends from work always invite me out on Sunday nights to some bar in SE for beers.  Apparently they've made it a regular thing, and I've never been!  If I didn't have a test on Tuesday (that I need to ace), I would totally be there.  It's got me bummed, but there's always next week.

I really don't understand how I've managed to keep taking more classes after the last couple of semesters.  I wonder if I'll ever stop going to school.  I wonder if I'll ever get into an RN program.  Will I ever have a real grown-up job?  =]

For now, I'll go back to studying for the test.  100%.  100%.  100%.

Blog #1

Why not?  I was called off of work the last couple of days, and I've been able to relax/recuperate.  Had a breakfast date with Adrian.  Got a haircut.  Met Brent for a couple drinks.  Vacuumed my cars.  Now I'm watching the Broncos kick ass.  Lorene's been encouraging me to create a blog.  So I asked myself, why not?

Paul and Anne got married!  I didn't realize what an emotional weekend it was going to be until the night of the rehearsal dinner, listening to Al give his speech on 'mau-widge.'  I've got SO much history with these two and their families, and I wanted every minute to last a lifetime.  Having Adrian there made everything that much better, and not just because he was the DD for the bachelor party.  =]

The weekend finally HAD to end.  We loaded up Dad's suburban and brought Mom back to Oregon with us.  It was so nice having her with us for 10 days.  We even got to celebrate her birthday, along with LaVonne's, in a joint birthday extravaganza!  

These two are awesome.

Now it's back to football, I swear.
