NEW YORK CITY!

Mom, I've given your regards to Broadway.

Adrian and I arrived at La Guardia last night, and while we were waiting for the bus we had a perfect view of the sunset.  I love the color the sun makes through the haze (the only time you can really look at the sun without blinding yourself).  After we made it out of Queens, we arrived in the Garment District where we met up with Rob Ritter (who I haven't seen since the summer of 1999).  Once we dropped off our gigantic backpacks at Rob's shop, we went straight to Hell's Kitchen for martinis and nachos at a cute little bar/lounge establishment called Vintage.  That's when Adrian's friend Kevin joined up with us (apparently we were all on the same flights from Portland).  From there we walked to a couple more bars.  Posh.  The Ritz.  Then we ended up piling into a cab that took us down to the Boiler Room.  It wasn't too long after arriving that we left Kevin and took a cab back to Rob's place.  Drunk and exhausted, we all passed out.

This afternoon when we woke up, life hurt.  I might have left some emesis on the street.  We went to Metro Diner and got some food (and I swear I saw Jessie St. James!).  I was disappointed with the corned beef hash, but the way I was feeling, I doubt anything would have tasted good.  From there we went back to the Garment District to pick up our luggage (passing by Macy's 34th St. store!), and made our way back to Rob's place, where we're now able to shower and brush our teeth.  It's the little things that help hangovers go away.

Tonight is going to be amazing, I can already tell.
